This position directs the provision of consultation to approximately 100 CAHCPs throughout the state. This position acts as a statewide resources for the Unit and Section in the area of access to care and health services for children and adolescents. This position serves as the lead worker representing a team of consultants working with the CAHCPs and is responsible for assuring high quality technical assistance is provided to this program. Completion of position responsibilities requires a high degree of complex specialized public health knowledge and expertise, as well as high levels of skill in policy and procedure development, quality improvement and evaluation. This position performs the full range of advanced professional public health activities using the laws, regulations, rules and policies & procedures for CAHCPs. This employee must exercise independent judgment in selecting a proper course of action in decision making. Experience Four years of professional, post-master's experience as a consultant in a field of public health equivalent to a Public Health Consultant, including two years equivalent to a Public Health Consultant P11 or one year equivalent to a Public Health Consultant 12.
