Child Care Aide, 12 Months Monday - Friday Split Shift - 4 hours per day: Approximately 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Straight shifts for summer/school closures (flexible for education or other employment)
Responsibilities:
- Supervising children
- Greeting parents upon arrival/departure
- Assisting in planning and implementing activities
- Maintaining a healthy and safe environment for children
- Staff members must follow professional development guidelines for Department of Human Services and Keystone Stars compliance
Qualifications:
- 2,500 hours of experience with children preferred
- High School diploma or GED
- College credits in Early Childhood Education or Human Services Field preferred
- ECE credits to meet licensing and Keystone STARS requirements preferred
- Two letters of reference verifying experience working with children
Clearance Requirements:
- Criminal Check, Child Abuse, DHS FBI, NSOR
