The Child Care Coordinating Council of the North Country, Inc. seeks a staff member for our child care resource tam, ( for up to a full-time position ( 40 hours/week). This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting the work of early care and learning professionals in a variety of child care settings. The duties involved in this position may include: providing a range of targeted assistance to child care providers/programs on varied topics such as child development, high-quality care practices, or business maintenance and management; supporting the delivery of a range of training for child care providers, and providing child care referrals and related information to families.Ideal qualifications consist of a minimum of a college degree in early childhood education( or related human services) and/or experience working in child care settings ( 3 years minimum preferred). The candidate will be knowledgeable on conditions common to the ECE field and workforce, and willing to expand upon their base of strengths while building vital relationships with their colleagues and consumers of the agency's services. The scope of work requires the ability to travel around the Northeastern North Country region, as well as proficient ability to document work tasks in electronic databases, with appropriate training provided. Flexible work schedule will include some evening and/or weekend hours to accommodate provider needs. Wage starts at $18/$23 hour, depending on experience and availability.
