Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and the Director of Child Development Programs, the TOSA - OCD Program Site Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and maintenance of records of all functions related to the operation of the before and after-school childcare and preschool programs. Work hours may fall under program hours of operation as needed: Monday through Friday 7:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M Requirements / Qualifications LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: - Possession of B.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, and/or M.A. in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field. - Possession of a Child Development Teacher Permit and Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit (Program Director Permit required if overseeing multiple sites). - 7-hour Health and Safety Training, and 1-hour Nutrition Training (8 hours total). - Current Pediatric First Aid Certificate and Pediatric CPR Certificate required. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE Two years experience in a children's center at a leadership capacity. Bilingual preferred but not required. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance, and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions in the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such in the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.
