We are looking for staff who will help us champion this journey. Essential Duties
- Provide essential support services for the Child Support office.
- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, case notes, and documents system or other methods (handwritten, email, Efiling, verbal, etc).
- Handle consumer interactions at the front desk, and by telephone.
- Responsible for accepting, receipting, and properly accounting for consumer payments.
- Data entry into a variety of software programs. Schedule and coordinate meetings, and maintain the pre-hearing and court schedule for Child Support.
- Maintain schedules and calendars; arrange and confirm appointments. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and other material, including interoffice correspondence.
- Set up and maintain filing and records systems.
- Set up and maintain work procedures and agency policies.
- Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in email to answer inquiries and provide information.
- Greet and direct persons entering the agency and handle queries from the public and consumers.
- Answer, direct, and make phone calls; distribute messages. Liaison with internal and external contacts, coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally.
- Operate office equipment including, but not limited to, photocopier, scanner, fax, and printer.
- Assist with projects, and contribute to committee and team work. Complete photocopy request projects.
- Provide for Child Support records responsibilities, including but not limited to checking client charts in and out to staff, assisting with purging, and filing client documentation.
- Provide back-up coverage where needed/scheduled, requiring knowledge of job duties and responsibilities in several areas.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent. Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications including but not limited to - Excel Level 1 or equivalent, Word Level 2 or equivalent, Outlook Level 1 or equivalent, and PowerPoint Level 1, as well internet applications and any other departmental software programs. Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications, including the KIDS system.
Knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures and business principles, including:
- Proven experience in information and communication management

- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Work may require occasional schedule flexibility.
