Childcare Assistant

Trinity Christian Academy is seeking part time applicants for the afternoon position of Childcare Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year at our Oakleaf location. A childcare assistant is a vital member of the early childhood education team. This role involves providing support to the lead teacher and helping create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Here's an overview of the responsibilities and qualifications associated with this position:

Qualifications:

* Evidence of an authentic and active Christian walk

* Proficiency in early learning

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Strong ability to multitask and follow directions.

Requirements:

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* GED/High School diploma

* Willingness to complete the DCF online training-starting within 90 days of hire.

* First Aid/CPR training

* Background screening

* Willingness to care for children under the teacher's direction and supervision.

* Bilingual is preferred
