We seek passionate and dedicated childcare teachers for our 1-year-old, 2-year-old, and 3-year-old classrooms in Saxonburg, PA. If you are committed to fostering the growth and development of young children, we want you on our team.

Childcare Pay & Benefits:

  • $1000 Sign-On Bonus: Payable in installments.
  • Competitive Pay: $14 - $18 per hour, based on education and experience.
  • Work-Life Balance: No evenings, weekends, or major holidays are required.
  • Flexible Scheduling:
    • Choose between:
      • 4 days/week with 10-hour shifts, or
      • 5 days/week with 8-hour shifts.

  • Incentive Rewards: $50 gift card every other month for perfect attendance.

Childcare Job Responsibilities:

Engage with Children: Care for and supervise children aged 1, 2, or 3 years.Foster Development: Support social and emotional skills development.Lesson Planning: Create and implement lesson plans aligned with our curriculum.Progress Tracking: Monitor and document children's development.Individual Attention: Provide personalized care to each child.Special Activities: Assist in organizing and implementing activities.Meal Preparation: Help prepare meals for the children.Safety and Well-being: Ensure a safe environment for all children.Parent Collaboration: Communicate with parents about their child's progress.Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports.

Childcare Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience with children (including babysitting and nannying).
  • Educational Knowledge: Understand current best practices in early childhood education.
  • Activity Leadership: Ability to lead activities promoting growth.
  • Lesson Planning: Ability to create and implement lesson plans.
  • Behavior Management: Positive and respectful behavior management skills.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills with children, parents, and staff.
  • First Aid & CPR: Certification is required (training is provided).
  • Licensing Standards: Meet all licensing standards, including physical & TB tests and necessary clearances.
  • Nurturing Environment: Commitment to providing a safe and nurturing space.
