Position: ICRT3 - 05863Grade: H7NOTICE OF POSITION OPENINGPosition:Children Access Program CoordinatorDivision:Intensive Care ServicesReports to:Director,Intensive Care ServicesDescription: The children's access coordinator is a full-time salaried benefit eligible position working as part of a dynamic, passionate team with children and families. The coordinator will provide supervision and clinical assessments, therapeutic inventions with children, adolescents, and families with urgent or emergent needs. Anticipated schedule will be Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with some evening shifts with limited opportunity to work remotely. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide clinical and administrative supervision to the Children's Access clinician.Triage Children's Access referrals for quick outreach to families in distress. Provide immediate follow up to crisis/urgent or emergent needs for children, adolescents, and families.Provide mental health assessments to determine recommended treatment and referrals to appropriate providers.Provide clinical case management in collaboration with WCMHS programs, other Washington County agencies, including schools, DCF and health care providers.Provide short-term therapeutic interventions through preferred clinical framework for children, adolescents and families in the community or office-based settings.Collaborate with WCMHS programs, other Designated Agencies, hospitals, and various other systems serving children and families. Represent Children's Access at various interagency meetings.Participate in clinical supervision in a collaborative way to determine best therapeutic process for caseload. Other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have the following skills:Supervisory skills to best clinically and administratively support the Children's Access clinician.Clinical interviewing and assessment skills, both oral and written.Ability to engage youth and families with a trauma informed approach.Therapeutic intervention skills including counseling and a willingness to learn new counseling skills.Be reliable, on time, flexible and able to work as a team member as well as independently.Possess excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to complete and submit medical record updates and billing paperwork within required timelines. Qualifications: Position requires master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling. Holds an active license or license eligible as a psychologist, social worker or mental health counselor. 3-5 years working within mental health with experience with children, youth, and families. Must have safe, reliable, and insured vehicle with a clean driving record. Able to move around an office setting with or without accommodation. Able to transition from sitting to standing position with or without accommodation. Able to drive in a community setting without accommodation. Able to lift and move up to 20 pounds with or without accommodation.
