Badges and screens visitors according to our visitation guidelines. Determines the guest's destination and transportation needs, providing assistance as needed. Directs visitors with precise way finding. Transports patients internally providing a safe and engaging experience. Also responsible for moving/stocking wheel chairs, strollers and carts throughout the facility.
Requirements:- High school graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
- A minimum of one year customer service experience including conflict management situations.
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school, school-age, adolescent and/or adult patient in regards to their growth and development process.
- Bilingual abilities preferred. CPR certification within 90 days of hire - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
- Critical thinking skills required to make independent decisions and problem solve in a complex, fast paced environment.
- Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently or as a team.
- Exudes confidence and finesse in stressful situations-effectively diffusing negativity.
- Ability to learn and retain detailed information to keep CHW safe, provide direction for visitors and to transport patients including: Facilities across the MRMC campus to include patient care and amenities, Visiting policy and nuances per unit/area, Donation guidelines, Interventions for violence prevention, Services, events and resources available for families
