WHAT YOU WILL DOWEEKEND SERVICES
- Ensure the Saddleback Kids ministry program is offered on the weekend. This includes program set-up, setting up and tearing down the rooms used, check-in area, and staffing requirements. Three rooms minimum for 3 age groups. Teaching Explore SK, NLO1, baptism classes, and child dedication classes as scheduled.
PROGRAM
- Prepare all curriculum for weekend use, including all print items, keynotes, crafts, etc. Special event weekend prep when needed.
VOLUNTEERS
- Recruit and onboard new SK volunteers. Facilitate training and fellowship for SK volunteers. Care and shepherding for SK volunteers.
COMMUNICATION
- Weekly e-mail communication to SK volunteers. Family communication as needed. Promotional materials for the ministry. Remain in communication with campus team and SK central team.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
- Children's Ministry experience is required. This position requires knowledge, experience and understanding of children age Birth through Grade 5, the Saddleback Church culture, and Purpose Driven Children's Ministry.
- Administrative experience is required for this position (i.e. Google Workspace, Pro Presenter, Keynote, organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, financial skills to manage budget, teamwork and flexibility).
- Experience recruiting and shepherding volunteers.
WHAT WE OFFERSaddleback Church's pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $26.00-$27.00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job.
