CHMC- Pediatric Office Nurse I (RN/LPN) – Full Time-8-4:30p- Day Shift – Requisition 7905Pay Range: $36.54-$60.29*Provides care for patients in an ambulatory, Behavioral Health care setting in collaboration with a mid-level practitioner or physician. May include supervision of LPN's or support staff. Due to the isolated nature of clinic practice, demonstration of ongoing professional growth is mandatory. Strong patient teaching skills. Knowledge of growth and development across the life span with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care. Sustained efforts to maintain current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issues.REPORTS TO:Clinical Coordinator and/or Director of Mental Health UnitEDUCATION:Required:Graduate from an accredited nursing programLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:Required:Current NYS RN or LPN licenseBLS certification (infant, child and adult CPR) requiredPreferred:ACLS desirableTRAINING and EXPERIENCE:Required:Three (3) years Behavioral Health or other related nursing experienceStrong patient teaching skills and an interest in mental health and psychopharmecologyKnowledge of growth and development across the life span with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of careSustained efforts to maintain current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issuesRN preferred but qualified LPNs will be considered (payscale will differ for LPN)*The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.
