# Pay range $36.54-$60.29* CHMC # Physician Office Nurse I (RN) Wound Care# Per Diem- Day Shift # 8a-4p-Requisition 7396 The Wound Healing Center Office Nurse I performs the primary function of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in an ambulatory, wound healing center in collaboration with the Clinical Coordinator, Program Director, and center physicians/providers. This position is responsible for meeting the established Wound Center Standards of nursing practice in the management of all assigned patients. Demonstration of ongoing professional growth is mandatory. Assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, DNV Standards and professional and ethical practice. Qualifications: Current NYS RN license## 3-years Med/Surg, CCU, ED or other related nursing experience.# Wound care experience preferred.### BLS certification (infant, child and adult CPR) required; ACLS desirable## Strong patient teaching skills and an interest in wound care# Knowledge of growth and development across the life span with the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care## Sustained efforts to maintain current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issues. Must maintain current BLS certification *The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
