The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.SCOPE OF POSITION:Christmas Gift Wrappers can neatly and beautifully wrap Christmas gifts at our Gift-wrapping booth. They may occasionally take payment through our Square device. May be asked to man Giving Tree if short-staffed.Essential FunctionsThe ability to wrap gifts in a neat and pleasingPossesses the ability to take payment using a Square paymentMay man Giving Tree when short-staffed.Ensures gift wrap and related supplies are consistently filled and reports shortages to the Giving Tree/Gift WrapWorking Conditions:Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, run, jump and twist on an intermittent and sometimes continuousAbility to maintain grasp, push, pull objects such as boxes, paper rolls and use of scissors.Maintain the ability to operate a computer, telephone, and similarAbility to learn how to use a Square paymentAbility to lift up to 10Minimum Qualifications:Must submit to and pass a backgroundMust be a minimum of 8 yearsSkills, Knowledge and AbilitiesMust possess the ability to work as part of a dynamic, high-performing team and maintain confidentiality.Must have the ability to relate positively to people from diverse backgrounds and communicate well with the generalWillingness to accept and support the mission of The SalvationBe flexible and open to new ideas andPossesses the ability to work well independently and in a detailed, professional, and courteousThe position description has been assigned to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this classification.
