Responsibilities Everwatch Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator to support existing network infrastructure across multiple remote locations for Air Force Distributed Common Ground Station - National Mission Partner (AF DCGS-NMP) systems. This position is open to candidates willing to work with a well-established and evolving team. The ideal candidate will provide network administration support to Cisco network devices providing connectivity to mission systems and workstations; actively monitor and troubleshoot network issues; resolve trouble tickets; and update and switches and routers as necessary. The Network Administrator will work closely with the System Engineers and Administrators to ensure continuous operations for mission users through implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of network devices and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement network solutions in addition to supporting existing network infrastructure
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches)
  • Conduct complex network problem analysis; resolve complex network problems
  • Research, recommend, and evaluate network performance, optimization and security solutions
  • Assist system engineers and cross-organizational teams to formulate solutions in response to mission requirements
  • Introduce and integrate new network technologies
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve server connectivity and performance issues
  • Administer network standards, including naming conventions and address protocols
  • Monitor, analyze and manage network traffic and other conditions to achieve optimal performance and uptime
  • Analyzes data to minimize network congestion
  • Familiarity with trouble ticket reporting systems like JIRA and/or SERENA
Qualifications
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • 5+ years of experience in contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information technology, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • In lieu of degree, 12+ years of experience in the field of computer network administration and engineering
  • Recent experience with administration of Cisco networking devices
  • Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification
  • Experience with architecting and designing complex DoD network systems
  • Experience with Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Experience working in classified spaces to implement network solutions
  • Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices
  • Experience with leading the design, test, and deployment of DoD systems or solutions
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPSec VPNs and analyzing network traffic
  • Knowledge of routing protocols
