The Law Firm Group Senior Client Specialist is a strategic member of Citi Private Bank Law Firm Group who closely follows the latest trends in the law firm industry, and leverages Citi's proprietary database of law firm financial data to advise LFG's clients on legal industry trends, firm performance and their financial strategy. Deep knowledge of the law firm industry and excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills are required in order to gain the trust and respect of the senior leadership of law firms. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and build strong relationships within Citi. Responsibilities:Provide thought leadership to the legal industry via peer reviews, creation and publication of research and analysis of survey findings, and speaking engagements.Work closely with other Senior Client Specialists and a group of Business Analysts in the administering of surveys and creation of peer reviews and thought leadership contentBe an integral part of the production, analysis and delivery of over 200 tailored peer reviews throughout the yearPrepare peer reviews by conducting detailed and comprehensive analysis of the financial performance of law firms vs. peers and identify areas of opportunityInterface with clients to conduct peer reviews and state of the industry presentationsBuild relationships and work closely with Bankers to provide relevant and timely advice to clients Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:10+ years of experienceExperience in law firms a plus, ideally in law firm operations or financeDemonstrated interest in finance and lawStrong analytical, writing and presentation skillsAttention to detailStrong leadership skills Proficiency and aptitude in utilizing MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, and PowerPointEducation:Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Private Client Coverage------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Law Firm Advisory Services------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$170,000.00 - $300,000.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
