Citrix Engineer Location : Eagan MN Required Skills & Experience
- Highly proficient with all aspects of building and supporting Citrix infrastructures
- Experienced writing automation scripts with Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
- Understand the security requirements and best practices for protecting the data within our environment and being accessed by applications published via Citrix, and methods of locking down desktops
- Hands-on experience working within an infrastructure using VMWare for virtualization, Active Directory for Identity management, and working with network teams on firewall and load balancing requirements
- Understanding of Network problem determination, tracing traffic, identifying firewall issues
- Familiar with migration of large numbers of users between Citrix environments, migrating from VDI's to shared desktops
- Knowledge of Windows Env, Active Directory, and Intune
Core Technical/Product Skills: (Must Have All)
- Citrix VDI (CVAD, DaaS) solutions on-premises, hybrid, and pure cloud. Experience must be end to end including endpoints, applications, M365 integration, printing, user experience, user data, resiliency, multi-geo scaling, group policy, traffic and protocol optimization, and security. Candidates with VDI deployments in Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop, will be at an advantage in the selection process.

- Azure Virtual Desktop with FSLogix
- Corporate VPN, Layer 2 & 3 Networking, and Firewall fundamentals.
- Azure Active Directory and MultiFactor Authentication
- Imprivata and similar Identity Management solutions.
Highly Preferred Technical/Product Skills:
- Azure Infrastructure and Networking
- Logic Monitor
- IGel thin client deployment and centralized management using UMS
- Nerdio
- Traditional, Modern, and Cloud Datacenter Technologies. Specifically experience supporting Nutanix hardware/software and AHV, VMware ESXi and vCenter.
