Engineer I Civil DesignPosition OverviewThe Engineer I Civil Design will assist in the planning and execution of civil engineering projects, focusing on site design and development. The primary objective of this role is to support the design team in creating innovative and efficient civil engineering solutions that meet client needs and comply with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using Microstation and AutoCAD
- Conduct site assessments and field investigations to gather data for design purposes
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet safety and quality standards
- Participate in the preparation of construction documents and project reports
- Support project management activities, including scheduling and budgeting
- Help analyze earthwork and drainage designs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
- Contribute to the design of utilities, roadways, and site layouts while understanding zoning requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 1+ years experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Familiarity with civil engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microstation and AutoCAD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of site design and construction documents is a plus
