Civil/Environmental Engineer Intern Halff has an immediate opening for a part-time civil or environmental engineer intern in our Orlando, Florida office. This position will support stormwater management studies, watershed modeling, and preliminary/final design projects as well as business development.This is an excellent opportunity to gain real world experience
Duties/Responsibilities: - May include developing model networks in GIS
- Engineering analysis and calculations
- Researching permits
- Data take offs from construction documents
- Conduct model simulations and tabulating and assessing model results
- Preliminary design tasks (CADD support), report development, data entry and analysis
- Picking up/delivering documents
- Miscellaneous engineering, and administrative tasks
- Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Some knowledge of civil/environmental engineering principles, practices, and tools.
Qualifications: - Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or environmental engineering or closely related field
- Great communication skills
- Willingness to learn training will be provided
- Flexible schedule
