This full-time role involves working on diverse building and infrastructure projects across NYC. About the Role

As a Civil Field Engineer, you'll travel daily to various project sites, performing field inspections and testing using standard procedures and equipment. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of projects, contributing to a legacy of engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections and field testing of building and infrastructure components.
• Utilize applicable testing procedures and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, ASTM Standards, and TMS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Registered EIT in New York State (required).
• OSHA-10 certification (OSHA-30 is a plus).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with—or ability to learn—building inspection codes and testing standards.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for site visits and transporting equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to handle materials/equipment and complete relevant documentation.
• Capable of moving across job sites, including climbing ladders and navigating uneven terrain.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Strong visual skills, including depth perception.
