R&S Towers, Inc. specializes in the construction and maintenance of wireless infrastructure and currently works in Missouri and neighboring states. This position requires frequent travel and working in various weather conditions for irregular hours. About the role: You will utilize construction plans and various equipment to prepare sites for projects. You will travel extensively throughout the Midwest, most often leaving Monday and returning Friday. You will be supervising 2-4 person crews, ensuring that safety procedures are diligently followed.

Responsibilities

• Understand job scope, schedule, etc. and convey information effectively to your crew.
• Lay out landmarks, elevations, and boundaries to ensure successful project placement.
• Operate and maintain various types of equipment, and understand the hazards associated with them.
• Interpret construction drawings and communicate design requirements to crew members.
• Procure materials in advance of project start to allow for uninterrupted work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Drivers License - Class A CDL Preferred ( w/o restrictions)
• Experience working on and supervising civil projects
• Ability to pass an initial physical and drug screens
• High amount of travel typically M-F. With occasional 7-10 day outs.
• Proficient in operating and understanding the limitations of heavy equipment. (Skids, Minis, Telehandlers, etc.)
• Bonus points If you have a history of previous safety training. OSHA 10 or 30, First Aid CPR w/ BBP, Trenching & Shoring etc.
