Job Overview:
I am working with top casualty defense and civil litigation firms and they are seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join their legal team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a diverse caseload, providing strategic legal counsel, and representing clients in civil litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including but not limited to contract disputes, personal injury claims, real estate disputes, and employment law issues.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
- Manage all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment to trial and post-trial motions.
- Prepare and present persuasive arguments in court, during mediation, and at arbitration hearings.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong understanding of Texas civil procedure and rules of evidence.
