Job Description:

Graham & Associates seeks a highly skilled Civil Site Design Engineer to join our team and lead the design efforts for projects at the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport!

Earn $100k to $130k Annually based on experience

***This Is A Hybrid Position***

Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil site design.

Must Have A EIT Certification in Georgia or the ability to obtain one

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate on the design team to help develop comprehensive civil site design plans for airport projects, including roadways, parking areas, utility systems, and other infrastructure elements.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the design aligns with overall project goals and meets all relevant codes and standards.
  • Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations for civil site components.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for design purposes.
  • Prepare and review construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with permitting agencies to obtain necessary approvals for design plans.
  • Provide technical support and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • EIT Certification in Georgia or the ability to obtain one
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil site design, preferably with airport projects
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant design software
  • Knowledge of airport design standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, ICAO)
  • Experience in the use of 3D software to model civil engineering design, including but not limited to Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in essential computer programs including Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
