Civil/Structural Engineer - Facilities Assessment Specialist
Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 (Based on experience)

We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to lead facility assessments and write comprehensive reports that inform decisions for maintaining and improving a vast portfolio of medical and defense buildings. You'll utilize advanced tools like BUILDER Sustainment Management System (SMS) and contribute to projects aimed at recapitalizing and sustaining vital infrastructure. This role offers a clear path for growth, providing the opportunity to expand your skills in program management, software systems, and equipment assessments.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze existing building systems and structural elements to develop detailed condition reports.
- Write clear, concise reports that drive facility maintenance and investment strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering and program leadership to manage deliverables and client requirements.
- Support project scopes for facility rehabilitation and equipment replacement.
- Provide mentorship and training to new team members as the program grows.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- 3-5 years of experience with building systems, facility assessments, or infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail and report-writing skills.
- Familiarity with BUILDER SMS or other facility management tools is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare or defense projects preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check to meet the requirements for accessing Department of Defense installations.
- Travel may be required up to 10%, including assignments within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS).
