Job Description:

Commonwealth Rolled Products is a leading manufacturer of Aluminum rolled products for the Automotive, Commercial, and Industrial markets. The Company operates its production facility in Lewisport, KY with the support of an Automotive Innovation Center for R&D, Sales and Field Service in Madison Heights (DET), and Inside Sales in the Cleveland, OH area. Our Account Management team is seeking to add a talented Claims & Account Management Specialist. The purpose of this role is to sell and provide superior service to customers via effective, measurable administration of claims processes while protecting the interests of Commonwealth Rolled Products. This role contributes to achievement of strategic initiatives and objectives by offering guidance/expertise to key customers and other members of the Automotive and Common Alloy teams. Responsibilities Include:

  • Actively participate in maintaining a zero incident safety culture
  • Live and champion the Commonwealth Rolled Products core values; Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus, Ownership, Excellence, and Teamwork
  • Interact with customers regarding claims and account management responsibilities
  • Receive, review and process customer claims and deductions
  • Derive and enter customer credits and/or supplemental invoices
  • Create and maintain reports specific to claims, deductions and credits
  • Partner with field and product engineers to finalize claim investigations and dispositions
  • Review, enter, and check customer sales orders
  • Maintain account management electronic filing systems as needed
  • Assist account management with completion of assigned team responsibilities
  • Provide backup to claims analyst, account coordinator and account management representatives
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in business management or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and organization skills
  • Ability to use computer applications, such as spreadsheets, word processing documents, databases, and e-mail programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field
  • Prefer 3 years of experience in a metals or related business with a working knowledge of aluminum products
