Job DescriptionClaims AdvocatePosition Overview: Our client, a reputable insurance agency, is seeking a skilled and client-focused Claims Advocate to join their dynamic team. This role is centered on guiding clients through the claims process, ensuring fair resolutions, and serving as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to secure optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Claims Process Support: Assist clients throughout the claims process, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and submitted promptly.
  • Client Advocacy: Act as a strong advocate for clients, negotiating with carriers to achieve fair and equitable claim resolutions.
  • Claims Review: Analyze claims to identify opportunities for expedited settlements and accurate outcomes.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure claims adhere to industry regulations and company standards.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts or disputes between clients and insurers with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Clear Communication: Maintain consistent, transparent communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to deliver top-tier service.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in claims handling, client services, or a related insurance role.
  • Licensing: Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
  • Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in managing claims and documentation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive and critical thinking abilities to resolve issues effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with claims management software and CRM tools.
