CARS ARRIVE NETWORK an OPENLANE Brand is looking for an AR Coordinator in the Mesa office. This AR Coordinator is responsible for managing and recovering amounts due for damage claims and amounts due on other outstanding accounts. This role involves contacting individuals or businesses via phone and email to make payment arrangements and ensure that debts are collected in a timely and efficient manner. The Collections Representative plays a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by managing outstanding receivables and working to reduce bad debt.

Hybrid in Mesa, Arizona office Tuesday & Thursday

The AR Coordinator collaborates with the claims and accounts payable teams and has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

* Monitor and manage a portfolio of overdue accounts.

* Contact customers through phone calls, emails, or letters to collect overdue payments.

* Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to recover outstanding balances.

* Address customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding their account status.

* Collect and manage insurance payments and follow through with the insurance companies until payment is received.

* Document all interactions with customers and update account records accordingly.

Customer Service:

* Maintain professional and courteous communication while handling difficult or sensitive conversations.

* Provide exceptional customer service while managing challenging situations.

* Foster positive relationships with carriers to facilitate open communication and cooperation.

* Provide support to carriers while demonstrating empathy and understanding in every interaction.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Exceptional problem-solving skills

* Collections/Customer Service experience is not necessary but helpful

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Effective communication skills

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Strong customer relations and negotiation skills
