Our insurance carrier client is seeking an experienced Senior Professional Liability Claims Adjuster.

Compensation
- $110,000 - $150,000/year (based on experience)
- Annual bonus potential
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or relevant education/ experience; J.D. preferred
- 5+ years of experience handling professional liability claims such as D&O, Legal, Medical Malpractice, EPLI, among others
- Must be willing to commute into the office in Hartford, CT
- The adjuster should have good technology skills and be proficient in Word and Excel
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough investigations into professional liability-related claims, interviews with involved parties, and reviewing project documentation.Evaluate the validity of claims and determine appropriate settlements based on policy coverage, liability, and damages.Negotiate settlements with contractors, policyholders, and other stakeholders, ensuring fair and equitable resolutions.Files need to investigated early and thoroughly as many of the insureds go out of business after their work is doneWork closely with contractors, engineers, legal professionals, and policyholders to facilitate claim resolutions.
