This exciting Hybrid Work benefit offers colleagues a flexible work schedule with the ability to remain connected with their Merchants team and colleagues.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide quality customer service by means of timely first contact, communication of expectations to customers and the timely responsiveness and disposition of policyholders' comprehensive claims.
  • Answers incoming calls and sets up reported claims timely and accurately in our claim system.
  • Completes timely coverage verification and thorough investigation necessary to ensure an equitable disposition of claims.
  • Performs claim activities such as requesting appraisals, requesting police reports, preparing and mailing payment documents.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Insurance background is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer experience including Microsoft Word experience.
  • ImageRight knowledge is a plus.
Merchants Insurance Group Pay information:Merchants Insurance Group offers a competitive pay scale. The actual compensation will be determined based upon experience and other factors permitted by law. The initial pay range for this position is $38,328 - $51,091.Merchants Insurance Group Benefits:
