PITCO FOODS CLASS-A SHUTTLE DRIVER PITCO Foods is a large independent foodservice distributor in Northern California. Based in San Jose, CA, PITCO also has distribution centers in Brisbane, Oakland, and Sacramento. POSITION SUMMARY: The Class A Shuttle Driver will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer, and adhering to all commercial driving regulations to transport products to and from various locations. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, as well as the ability to meet strict deliver schedules. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicles and trailer, reporting any issues or concerns to management
- Review and maintain route paperwork for completeness and accuracy
- Operates vehicles safety within Pitco guidelines minimizing accidents and traffic violations
- Complete driver log
- Shuttle empty trailer from Fresno yard to Sacramento yard, pick up loaded trailers and shuttle back to Fresno
- Assumes other related duties as required or assigned
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must posses a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with double/triple hazardous materials endorsement
- Requires one (1) years of experience utilizing an active Class A driver's license
- Must posses an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards
- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations
- Ability to count and perform basic math with or without calculator
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Bi-lingual is a plus but not required
- Must pass Drug Test and Background Check

EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of CLASS A experience preferred.
