Class B Driver Currently seeking experienced Class B Delivery driver to join our team in Lebanon, PA. Part time to potential full time.
Job Responsibilities: Operate company-owned and leased vehicles safely, delivering materials to and from customers. Unload or assist in handling material as required. Follow assigned scheduling of deliveries, on-time and accurately. Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits. Follow proper procedures in delivering material. Obtain signatures. Reporting accidents and record keeping. Maintains vehicles in good condition. Assumes material handler position and responsibilities when not making deliveries. Must be willing to perform a majority of warehouse duties as per below: Build customized wood crates, skids and decks. Package, block and brace ocean shipping containers in accordance with IMO regulations. Utilize forklift as needed for receiving and loading. Forklift certification required. Document incoming and outgoing materials through in house tracking system. Work overtime as needed. All runs will be local, with the farthest being New York.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: High School or equivalent. Route Delivery Experience. CDL class B license. 6+ months of driving experience required. Clean MVR. No reckless driving based on state specific guidelines – No DUI. Able to pass criminal background check.
Skills and Abilities: Lifting 20-pound objects constantly; 50-pound objects frequently; and 100-pound objects occasionally is required. Ramps, Balancing, Pushing and pulling, Stooping, crouching and kneeling.
Compensation and Benefits: $30/hour
