NOTE

Ferndale School District is hiring a Para Educator at Eagleridge Elementary for classroom support and lunchroom coverage. This position is continuing, working 5.25 hours a day, starting as soon as possible.

* Paraeducator State minimum employment requirements include: 1) At least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent AND 2) a. Receive a passing grade on the education testing service paraeducator assessment (Para Pro Test; OR b. Hold an associates of arts degree; OR c. Have earned seventy-two quarter credits or forty- eight semester credits at an institution of higher learning; OR d. Have completed a registered apprenticeship program. You will need to provide documents at the time of hire.

Benefits

Employees who are anticipated to work at least 630 hours in a school year are eligible for medical, dental, vision, LTD, and life insurance. In addition, employees working at least 70 hours per month for at least 5 months are required to enroll in the Washington State Retirement System
