Do you enjoy helping our future generation grow and succeed? The classroom liaison is responsible:

• To help each child attain success in the classroom.
• Utilize the Second Step Curriculum to facilitate group activities for children in partnership with their classroom teacher to support social/ emotional growth and competency.
• Help teachers brainstorm ways to help children build on their regulation and coping skills.
• Support Teachers in the development of classroom management skills
• Act as a liaison between care givers, childcare staff and other supportive services.
• Work with Collaterals including pediatricians, school system resources, early intervention providers, etc.

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Experience: Two or more years of human service experience, preferred. Experience working with children and families, preferably in a classroom or group care setting preferred. Experience with child development and/or child welfare. Bi-lingual (Spanish)/multi-lingual abilities, preferred.
