Job Summary:The Cleaning Operations Manager is responsible for the daily cleaning operations of the Residential Clean Team and Commercial Clean Team. The Cleaning Operations Manager can use the available technology and excellent organizational skills to efficiently schedule cleaning jobs and assign teams while working to increase efficiency and quality. The Cleaning Operations Manager provides the structure to the team through strong leadership, management, and dependability. This position requires face-to-face client interaction where customer service is a core responsibility. Reporting to this position are the Residential Clean Team Supervisor, Commercial Clean Team Supervisor, and Linens staff. The Cleaning Operations Manager works alongside the Rentals Manager and Concierge Relationship Manager to coordinate staffing efforts for short-term rentals and the clean team. This position reports directly to the President.Supervisory Duties:Working with the HR Department, recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff.The Cleaning Operations Manager is responsible for mentoring and building up direct reports by fostering growth opportunities and promoting the next leaders within the Company.Continue to foster an environment where the Company promotes from within.Oversees the daily workflow of the division and reports back to the President.Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations, per company policy.Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.Oversees all members of the Clean Team to ensure a high attention to detail, always.Follow all Safety procedures and lead the team by example. This includes conducting weekly safety huddles and training opportunities as they arise.Primary Duties:Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Residential Clean and Commercial Clean Teams by maintaining efficient schedules and assigning duties to the correct team members. This includes reviewing and acting on notes and information from each job, daily.Meets Clean Team crews before their shifts and at the end of their shifts, including assigning and backing up weekend supervisors on duty.Always assesses opportunities for efficiency through creating and maintaining processes and procedures.Continually looks for opportunities to enhance and build upon current cleaning offerings.Ensures the highest quality is provided to clients.Ensure the Residential Clean Team members follow all Relax & Company policies, procedures, and high standards.Maintain a working knowledge of client accounts and job locations (including specific notes to each client).Responsible for maintaining proper cleaning supply inventories.Must work with the department budget.Responsible for ensuring cleaning equipment is maintained and suggests the purchase of new or replacement equipment.Works alongside other divisions to ensure client care is the top priority. Ensures a seamless client experience across departments.Responsible for overseeing residential deep cleans, opening cleans, construction cleans, recurring cleans, seasonal cleans, carpet cleaning, drapery and upholstery cleans, and quality control of each.This position is referred to as a working manager. This means the Cleaning Operations Manager may be required to perform cleanings in lieu of staff, especially in training situations.Required to visit job sites to ensure client satisfaction and quality control inspections.Ensures all cleanings are completed in a timely manner.Skills:Must work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.Strong customer service skills addressing current and potential customers.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Must have strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.Must be patient and empathetic.Must have a positive attitude.Must be accountable and self-motivated.Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage effectively.Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality with client relationships.Knowledge of or willingness to learn company software including Slack and Google Calendars/Docs/Sheets.Excellent communication and listening skills are necessary.Education:High school diploma or equivalent, required.Experience:Must possess no less than 5 years of people manager experience in the cleaning industry.At least two years of residential cleaning experience is required.Physical Requirements:Must be physically able to perform cleanings when needed.
