Clean Up/Production Aid

Job Purpose

To provide general plant clean-up and utility services under daily direction. This position will train as a backup for all job positions in the plant. When an hourly production position comes open in the plant, the clean up/production aid will be required to move into the open position if no internal candidate bid for the job.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

* Perform general clean-up and utility duties under daily direction from supervisor, including sweeping floors, cutting/moving lawns, picking up trash, painting, cleaning equipment, etc.

* Train as a backup for other job positions in the plant

* Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Knowledge of general plant clean-up and utility functions.

* Time management skills.

* Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

* No experience required.

* Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
