Hope for Youth is looking for a Full-Time Cleaner! Cleaners with light maintenance and repair work at Hope for Youth are primarily responsible for daily and deep cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen/break rooms, dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, wax/polish floors, garbage disposal, counter/table tops, windows, and other cleaning assignments. Light maintenance and repair work includes but is not limited to painting, gutter cleaning, unclogging toilets, snow removal, grounds, and assisting the maintenance team with projects as assigned. To be a successful Cleaner you must be ready, willing and able to do the following always: 1.Follow the guidelines as outlined in the employee manual. 2.Follow guidelines for regular routine cleaning schedules at all assigned facilities to always maintain above minimum standards for cleanliness. 3.Be able to work independently, moving from job to job, and documenting completion of work on required forms as directed by maintenance supervisor. 4.Respond to work order requests/special cleaning instructions in a timely manner, as determined by the maintenance supervisor. 5.As necessary stay late/come in early, or on evenings/holidays for emergencies such as: emergency cleaning needs and snow removal assistance. 6.Adhere to state regulations and applicable code of conduct. 7.Perform other resulting and necessary work to meet the needs and requirements of the clients, the program, Hope for Youth, oversight agency and any other regulatory obligations How you will generally spend your time in this job: 95% Cleaning with light maintenance and repair work (including documentation) 5% supervision/training/meetings To qualify for this job, you need to be or have a minimum: 1. H.S. diploma or equivalent 2. Ability to work flexible schedule/ including responding to emergencies 3. Valid driver's license 4. Physical Requirements: read/write reports and log entries, walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, repetitive wrist/finger movements, ongoing access to reliable vehicle and driving own vehicle for work This opportunity is being offered as full-time, 40 hour work week, Sunday-Thursday, 6:00am-3:00pm Excellent training and leadership opportunities available throughout employment and more.
