After all, our customer is ultimately the patient.POSITION TITLE: Assembler Weekends (10:00am-10:30pm) Saturday, Sunday & MondayLOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NYHOURLY PAY RANGE: $20.00 - $23.00hrSHIFT HOURS: (10:00am-10:30pm) Saturday, Sunday & MondayJOB SUMMARY: The Assembler is responsible for using a variety of tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble, test and/or package medical devices.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assemble, test, and package medical devices and related products in accordance with documented work instructions and procedures.Work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.Maintain consistent quality and workmanship of the products produced.Process paperwork accurately and neatly.Understand and comply with Quality System requirements.Complete assignments in a timely fashion, staying on task, minimize interruptions of work.Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.Adhere to all Company policies and procedures per the LSI Solutions Employee Manual.Report to work on time, including returning from breaks and lunch periods.Properly task in and out of work orders.Capable of searching and locating documents and work instructions in GAS.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist team members.Any other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Experience in a manufacturing environment necessary, Assembly experience preferred.Cleanroom experience is a plus.High School Diploma or GED.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Attention to detail and tasks being performed in order to identify potential changes and/or problems with the processes and products.Desire and demonstrated ability to produce 100% quality product all the time.Good hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity.Able to follow verbal and written instructions and consistently demonstrate compliance.Asks questions when unclear of direction or instructions.Able to communicate with team members in a positive manner.Able to work independently as well as alongside team members.Able to inspect utilizing microscopes or magnifier lamps.Able to accurately input data and test results into electronic formats.Basic computer literacy.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
