DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Clerical Assistant 3, you will be responsible for billing, collection, and customer service work related to the State Workers' Insurance Fund (SWIF). Work includes generating invoices, ensuring statement accuracy, resolving questions, discrepancies, and disputes, as well as maintaining documentation and data regarding accounts and policyholders. Additional duties include pursuing payment of smaller overdue accounts, determining appropriate collection approach, establishing payment plans, and revising agreement terms. You will have the opportunity to recommend referrals of accounts to the Office of Attorney General (OAG) for legal action and collaborate with OAG and SWIF audit staff regarding account details and actions.
