Position Type: Clerical/Substitute Clerical Date Posted: 8/21/2024 Location: District Wide Date Available: 2024-25 School Year Closing Date: 06/30/2025 The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for clerical substitutes (per diem/as needed) for the 2024-25 school year. *Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee; and will be reimbursed after having completed 10 days of employment. Job Description: This position will clerical support in our buildings throughout the district. Required Credentials: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma plus EITHER: (A) Two (2)years of paid full-time or its part-time or volunteer* equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience; OR, (B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with and Associate's degree or successful completion of sixty (60) college semester credit hours; OR, (C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above. * Volunteer experience must be documented by the participating agency and signed by the appointing authority. Employment dates, average number of hours worked per week, and job duties must be included. Preferred Credentials: Successful experience in a professional office environment, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Highly skilled in multiple computer applications, Highly organized with exemplary time management skills.
