THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Supervisor 2, you will supervise, monitor, and evaluate work performance of a large unit of technical and clerical personnel within the Cash Unit. You will be responsible for monitoring attendance and adherence to personnel policies. Work includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, developing, and conducting training, and conducting staff meetings.

Additional duties to include but not limited to:

+ Composing letters and responses using a personal computer

+ Preparing reports as necessary

+ Communicating through telephone inquiries and emails

+ Navigating files, copier, printer and fax

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

+ Full-time employment

+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

+ Work hours subject to change based on operational need.

+ Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time after the successful completion of the required probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

+ One year as a Clerical Supervisor 1;or

+ One year as a Clerical Assistant 3;or

+ Two years of as a Clerical Assistant 2;or

+ An equivalent combination of experience and training.
