SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising all overall functions of Admissions and maintains performance improvement of facility alongside the Clinical Director. Interviews and trains new employees, assures competency of all staff members, evaluates departmental and employee performance, and maintains efficient and effective department operation by following compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory standards and protocols. REQUIRED SKILLS:
+ Knowledge of and ability to apply facility philosophy, principles and technology;
+ Knowledge of rehabilitative departmental service functions (admissions and clinical) and medical terminology;
+ Broad knowledge of all Commercial and CMS Guidelines for IP, OP and SNF Rehabilitation Therapy (clinical and billing);
+ Ability to demonstrate, and provide examples of, continuous personal development and improvement in each of the essential daily functions;
+ Ability to build and lead cohesive, successful team(s);
+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
+ Exemplary customer service skills;
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including: Word and Excel) and
+ Advanced knowledge of Cerner Software
