Job Summary: As the Clerk - Credit, you will prepare and maintain documentation relating to customer casino credit and processing and maintenance of such accounts. Duties and Responsibilities: • Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere • Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations • Adhere to all policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals • Processes casino credit applications and maintains customer files • Makes direct contact either by phone or face to face with customers when taking credit applications • Makes direct contact with banks and consumer credit reporting agencies and casino credit reporting agencies • Makes direct contact with other casinos to obtain and document patron casino credit information • Audits mail-in marker payments, return check logs and return marker logs • Reviews bank deposits made for markers return checks and returned markers • Adjusts customers' accounts with regards to suspensions for returned checks and markers • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Must be 21 years of age or older • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent • Must be able to work various shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays • Credit, cage or casino experience with supervisory experience in any of those areas preferred • Knowledge of credit procedures/administration and laws and regulations affecting the casino industry preferred • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Must have excellent customer service skills Physical Demands: • Regularly required to see, talk, hear, walk, and stand • Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach • Occasionally required to sit or stoop • Must occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds • Frequently required to push and pull heavy carts across the casino floor and back of house area Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
