Job Description The position assists with various clerical, administrative and customer service tasks, in addition to other duties, in the fast-paced, daily operation of a service center. Responsibilities
- The position involves regular communication with customers and ABF Freight management to ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight and complete customer satisfaction.
Requirements Experience:
- Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
- Experience in billing, collections, tracing, ten-key and OS&D.
Computer Skills:
- Good typing/data entry and clerical skill, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook), preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills, required
- Must be able to follow instructions and procedures, required
- Must be organized and able to multi-task and prioritize workload, required
- Must manage time efficiently and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines, required
- Must be willing to work evenings and on an as-needed basis, required
Other Details Work Hours:
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Compensation:
- This is a hourly position paid weekly.
