DescriptionPOSITION PURPOSE:The primary responsibility of the Clerk - Inventory Control is to perform assigned tasks including ensuring the accuracy of inventory counts and amounts. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Wind Creek Bethlehem LLC ( Wind Creek ) policies, practices, and procedures.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs checkpoint control:Checks orders and compares requisitions to physical product being issued.Inspects every product requisitioned out by outlets and lounges.Signs off on requisitions leaving the warehouse.Updates requisitions and returns accurately and in a timely manner. Performs final updates on all requisitions after comparing the requisitions of the physical product being issued versus the intial outlet/lounge requisition.Maintains log for recording completed requisitions.Conducts full scale cycle counts of the warhouse every month. Records and prints inventory counts in Stratton Warren after conducting research on variances. Performs post counts throughout the month to monitor and record incentory variances.Researches information on inventory variances. Provides accurate info9rmation on outlet order history, receiving information and physical inventory.Checks and compares warehouse receiving paperwork with all invoices/packing slips. Updates and enters the receiving paperwork information into Stratton Warren.Is involved with monthly physical inventories in bars and beverage storerooms, food & beverage warehouse, and other inventory areas.Researches any inventory variances in the outlets and double checks the inventory counts from the outlet audit count sheets. Accurately transfers the information from the count sheets into the outlet profile in Stratton Warren.Conducts a physical inventory check pertaining After Hours Requisitions.Assists in an overnight quarterly retail store inventory audit.Completes all paperwork in accordance with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and approved Wind Creek standards.Answers phones and responds to interdepartmental inquiries as necessary.Maintains sufficient supply of forms.Runs and distributes other reports.Performs additional duties as assigned.Arrive for shift on time and in proper uniform.Properly use equipment, tools or systems to complete assigned tasks and complies with company safety standards.Develop a working knowledge of any PGCB rules, regulations and Internal Controls applicable to your position.Read and understand Wind Creek's Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan with regards to how to conduct business in this position and specifically the regulations prohibiting service to minors and/or intoxicated persons.Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers in compliance with Wind Creek customer service standards.Adhere to and complies with both departmental and overall property policies and procedures.Minimum Employment Requirements18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.High School diploma or equivalent.Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form.Interpersonal skills with focused attention on guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Wind Creek appearance standardsMaintain consistent adherence to Wind Creek's customer service standards. Specific Position Requirements: Minimum one (1) year experience in hospitality or retail inventory control environment. General knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting.Strong knowledge of MS Excel. Strong skills in 10-key and typing.Experience with other MS Office products is helpful, but not required.Familiarity with Stratton Warren I/P software is preferred.Ability to multi-task. Problem solving aptitude. Ability to follow directions thoroughly. Extremely detailed and organized; attention to detail and accuracy.Must possess strong time management, an attention to detail, analytical, and technical accounting skills Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.Physical ability to access all areas of the property.Ability to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction, work indoors, outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke.Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned.Ability to work with others, communicate well, receive direction; review your own work.Maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with guests in a friendly and polite manner.Ability to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.Must be able to qualify for, apply for an obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board license if required.
