This position provides routine office support. The incumbent reviews and processes documents, requests for information, maintains files, enters data, and distributes mail. This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

**Responsibilities**

+ Gathers data to create spreadsheets and/or reports.

+ Processes forms for the department.

+ Greets customers and patients, providing assistance and directions, as requested.

+ Maintains filing systems.

+ Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.

+ Answers, screens, and routes incoming telephone calls.

+ Performs data entry, scanning, scheduling of meetings, and other general office duties as assigned.

+ May receive payments and prepare receipts for routine fees and bills, as well as verifying the collected monies against cash register tapes and statements.

+ Demonstrated effective communication skills.

+ Commitment to provide excellent customer service.

+ Effective time management that ensures all duties are completed in a time-efficient manner.

+ Ability to assist frustrated customers in a professional, courteous manner while trying to help solve their problems.
