Our team of employee-owners, equipped with innovative technology and optimized procedures, helps owners optimize safety, productivity, profit margins, and cost-efficiency.Scale House/Traffic ClerkTo provide outbound processing for all truck shipments in a manner meeting regulatory, quality, safety, and other stated requirements.Provide inbound processing for all raw materials, stores, or other arriving materials per regulatory, quality, safety, and other stated requirements.Coordinate with security personnel to ensure proper inspection and safety training takes place for arriving drivers.Ensure proper documentation is completed and provided for each released shipment.Specific Job Duties:
  • Provide documentation inspection support to each loading area to ensure release of proper product and adherence to stated customer, and other requirements.
  • Ensure tarp inspection, driver training, pneumatic training are tracked, performed, and documented as required.
  • Complete inbound registration, weighing, generation of loading document, and performance of special identification requirements, direction of drivers to proper loading area, and other specified procedural requirements for truck arriving for product loading.
  • Ensure driver credentials and stated requirements, per procedural requirements per product, are tracked and met prior to plant entry.
  • Ensure proper notification of product Certification of Analysis is provided to the Lab and the CoA is received and copy to driver per procedural and customer requirements.
  • Ensure arriving products are processed per procedural requirements and all record and notification requirements are met.
  • Ensure upon completion of delivery of arriving products such as those noted above proper release weighing, documentation, and other stated procedural requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with Security to ensure arriving vendors are properly inspected and documented for delivery/visit.
  • Complete outbound registration, weighing, processing, and special review requirements per procedural requirements.
  • Provide proper documentation to Traffic Coordinator - Outbound truck for daily report generation.
  • Track and enter Proof of Deliveries (PODs), during evening, nights, and weekends per documented procedural requirements. Perform notification and prevent shipment to customers with outstanding PODs per procedural requirements.
  • Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; work at heights; balance for extended periods of time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required for this Position:Education: no minimum education requirements.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting preferred.Must pass drug screen and background check, as condition of employment.Work schedule is rotating swing shift 6:00 to 6:00.Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.Austin is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.We offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, and a matching 401K plan.
