In this position, you'll be responsible for managing client scheduling, collecting payments, and maintaining up-to-date client paperwork. You'll utilize your excellent communication skills to interact with clients, families, and staff, providing outstanding customer service while efficiently handling administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

* Greet and assist clients, verifying personal information and insurance details

* Schedule appointments and manage the clinicians' calendars efficiently

* Process payments, including co-payments and insurance claims

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using Electronic Medical Records systems

* Handle phone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate departments

* Manage appointment changes, cancellations, and no-shows according to established procedures

* Coordinate client referrals and verify eligibility for services

* Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area

* Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth office operations

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service monitoring programs

* Handle potentially stressful client encounters with professionalism and empathy

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required

* Previous customer service experience preferred

Additional Qualifications:

* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

* Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle challenging situations professionally

* Proficiency in multitasking and working as part of a team

* Exceptional organizational and time management skills

* Proficient typing skills and ability to work with computers and various software applications

* Reliable transportation to commute to the assigned work location

* Must successfully complete a background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
