Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries for mental health, domestic violence, and/or addictive disorders services, referring clients to appropriate Burrell departments or outside agencies.
- Assist Behavioral Crisis Center clients with pre-screening paperwork and cost share information.
- Schedule follow-up appointments for clients referred to other Burrell services and assist in filling out Medicaid applications if necessary.
- Maintain documentation of referrals and keep accurate records and reports.
- Work independently, demonstrate initiative, and remain flexible with changing job demands.
- Assist with scheduling and maintaining telehealth appointments as required.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and respond to requests from leadership.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area.
- Participate in service monitors and quality improvement programs.
- Demonstrate excellent guest relations skills in all interactions.
- Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
- Schedule flexibility is required.
Additional Qualifications:
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to multitask.
- Excellent organization and typing skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Willingness to complete necessary background checks.
