Summary
The Client Engagement Associate plays a supporting role in building the Harbor brand and share of AUM across National Account and Consultant clients. This individual will serve a critical role as it relates to client research, coordination (e.g. operational support), and the support of ongoing communication requirements across the Retirement, Wealth and Institutions Channels.
The Client Engagement Associate will report directly to the Head of Client Engagement and will partner closely with National Accounts, Field Sales, and various other internal groups in support of Harbor's growth and relationship management priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Support National Account Managers with planning efforts related to Account and Opportunity Management
* Execute client research and operational tasks in support of National Account and Consultant client engagement
* Support the tactical execution of defined Sales, Marketing and/or coordinated engagement campaigns
* Assist with the preparation of client reports and meeting materials
* Maintain data quality and sales pipeline hygiene
* Offer general organization support based on client needs and/or defined requests
* Support and participate in quarter-end reporting process (including updating databases)
* Coordinate internal resources as necessary (e.g. competitive analysis, RFPs/RFIs/Due Diligence Questionnaires, conference and sponsorship planning)
* Support RFP Team with database maintenance and ad hoc requests from clients, consultants and prospects

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required
* 1-2 years experience in asset management industry preferred
* FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
* Technologically savvy with strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Familiarity with salesforce.com a plus
* Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skill
* Team player with positive attitude and ability to adapt to the changing environment of a firm focused on growth
