Job Description:

The Client LFO organization within Citi's Finance function is looking for a full-time Vice President to join its team. The team is responsible for developing and consolidating consistent client metrics across businesses: sharing analytics and data insights, developing data pipelines for P&L and capital metrics, and building tools to analyze client returns to help business partners in their decision making.

The data management team spearheads collaborative efforts with Finance, Risk, and other business partners on efforts to streamline data flows and improve the data quality of metrics across various Citi systems. The team shares these client metrics with business CRMs to ensure consistent client metrics to bankers, sales teams, and business managers. The team also partners closely with the IT team to develop data models and system roadmaps as well as plan product releases.

We are creating this position to assist in developing metrics and analytics related to historical client returns, coordinating on execution with IT and other partners, and creating proformas with impact analysis to communicate material changes to our business partners.

The primary responsibilities for this position will be to coordinate the development of the Client LFO's IT infrastructure, the IT teams, and other partners in business and support functions. The effort spans across multiple Finance projects and applications.

Specific responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Consolidating data and processing needs across the Client LFO function to help drive our IT roadmap.
  • Aggregate and analyze data/metrics while performing root cause analysis.
  • Developing improved methods for improving data quality (statistical analysis) and code testing.
  • Developing best practices for flexible data exchanges from/to other systems, including a registry of content, standard views, data dictionaries, documentation (training/methodology etc.), and formal communications.
  • Coordinating compliance with requirements related to privacy, confidentiality, records management, and entitlements.
  • Project management related to the above, including budgeting, prioritization, and ensuring timely execution.
  • Guiding Finance teams in formulating resource plans, developing project plans, and drafting specifications for IT teams.
  • Coordinating tool selection and driving pilots with Finance teams to help with early adoption.

This job will provide insights into some of the key projects that will drive the Client LFO function going forward. It will provide an opportunity to work with, and learn about, a wide range of different organizations (front office, operations, and Global Functions), and their IT support.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of progressive experience within a financial services role or consulting.
  • Thoughtful analytical skills and problem solving; able to develop insights and clearly present to various audiences.
  • Strong business and technical communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and complete accuracy.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Citi, the financial services industry, and financial products.
  • Foster and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders across multiple departments and locations.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $129,840.00 - $194,760.00
