Position SummaryGuggenheim Partners Investment Management seeks a motivated individual to join its Client Service Support functional area as the Client Invoicing Team Lead. Reporting to the Head of Client Service Support ( Head of CSS ), the Client Invoicing team is responsible and accountable for all aspects of our client s deliverables that support the ongoing client experience relating to the provision of client invoicing solutions and superior client service. The team covers the full invoicing lifecycle from onboarding (implementation and maintenance), through to the creation and distribution of an invoice, and subsequent management and collection of owed payments. Client Invoicing forms a critical servicing function within the Client Service organization which also includes Client Service Support and Client Reporting. The position is located in our New York City office.Essential Job FunctionsSupport clients through the Onboarding and change lifecycle, working closely with CSS, operational and client service teams to deliver mutually agreeable billing contract provisions that are operational compliant and appropriately risk controlled.Manage the execution of day-to-day operations and meet targets for team deliverables, proactively planning and managing priorities for BAU and projects, ensuring optimal use of resource, and improving process efficiency.Lead/support projects and initiatives to improve our operating model, collaborating with the internal business and technology partners.Act as a deep subject matter expert, lead discussions, provide solutions that drive better outcomes, operational excellence, and enhanced client experience.Review and ensure quality of team's deliverables, within the invoicing workflow. Proactively investigate, identify, and remediate issues/errors as required.Develop and maintain strong, productive, and effective relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the Client Business, Onboarding Implementation, Contracting, Client Experience Management, and Finance to deliver a One-BlackRock approach.Responsible for process and controls ensuring compliance with policy and procedures, SOX, CASS and other regulatory requirements.Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement of the control environment, policies and procedures, looking for ways to innovate and drive the business forward, delivering a superior client experience. Stay informed of ongoing invoicing developments to ensure that the latest system functionality and requirements are considered during invoicing solution discussionsCreate and maintain robust standard operating policies (SOPs), procedures and guidelines to meet corporate risk and control standards and principlesDeliver against both individual and team objectivesAbility to manage a teamPreferred QualificationsStrong executive presence with ability to engage and collaborate with others at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience managing operational aspects of a functional areaBasic QualificationsExperience with client invoicing and billing in a financial service industry10 + years working within the investment management or financial services industriesUndergraduate degreeExperience designing, documenting and implementing processes.High proficient use of Microsoft products; especially skilled in Excel, Visio and PowerPointSalary DetailsAnnual base salary between $175,000 and $185,000.The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience.
